Mon 3/28/2022 will be last PJC meeting at Lloyd Hall for a while
Mon 3/28/2022 will be the last Philadelphia Jugglers Club meeting at Lloyd Hall for at least 6 months. We've been lucky to get the Monday evening time slot for two consecutive quarters (Q4 2021 & Q1 2022), but soon another group will get the opportunity to occupy the time slot for the next two quarters. Hopefully we will be allowed to reclaim the time slot in Q4 (Oct-Nov-Dec). |

PJC meetings resume Mon 10/18/2021 6:45-8:45pm
The Philadelphia Jugglers Club Monday evening meetings at Lloyd Hall will begin again on October 18, 2021 in a new time slot: Mondays 6:45-8:45pm. - Masks required at all times inside the facility for all participants. - Participants sign a COVID-19 visitor form at check in. - 50 person maximum allowed inside the gym at a time. |
UPDATE: PJC meetings continue to be canceled
UPDATE: Philadelphia Jugglers Club meetings continue to be canceled despite the limited reopening of Lloyd Hall. Philadelphia Parks & Recreation has a new policy requiring a 30-minute gap between between groups using the facility in order to allow time to sanitize the space. Before COVID-19, the Monday evening time slots were 6-8pm (used by basketball players) and our 8-10pm time slot. With the new gap rule (combined with an earlier closing time), the time slots are all different, and the final time slot each weekday is 6:30-8:30pm. Unfortunately, that means there are more groups requesting time slots than there are slots available. For those of us who work a day job, and would only be able to attend an evening meeting, one of the previous 10 Mon-Fri evening slots (either 6-8pm or 8-10pm) would have been acceptable. But now there are only 5 Mon-Fri evening slots (6:30-8:30pm), and no current availability in their schedule. They will let us know if a slot becomes available in the future. It's unclear when things will go back to normal, but obviously the rise of the delta variant, and the large number of unvaccinated people, continue to prevent us from reaching herd immunity and a return to normalcy. Please be a responsible member of society. Stop politicizing the COVID-19 mitigation efforts, and do your part to stop the spread: get vaccinated. |
Juggling meetings cancelled due to COVID-19
Our PJC Monday night meetings are cancelled until further notice. As a preventative measure to limit the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus, effective March 13, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation is suspending all permitted programs until further notice. The Philadelphia Jugglers Club has a permit from Parks & Rec to use Lloyd Hall for our juggling meetings on Mondays 8-10pm. Therefore, we are one of the permitted programs that are currently suspended. No juggling meeting this coming Monday. Unknown when we will be allowed back. |

Waterworks Dr and Sedgley Dr unavailable for parking tonight Mon 10/21/2019
In preparation for filming an upcoming television series in the Lloyd Hall neighborhood, several streets will be designated NO PARKING zones, reserved for the production company's vehicles and equipment trucks. This includes Waterworks Dr, and also Sedgley Dr (between Kelly Dr and Lemon Hill Dr). So expect to park far away if you attend tonight's Philadelphia Jugglers Club meeting at Lloyd Hall. Cars parked in the NO PARKING zones after 8pm will be relocated by the Philadelphia Police Department. |
