Juggle This! 10th annual NYC juggling festival March 5-6, 2011

posted Feb 10, 2011 8:34 AM by Philadelphia Jugglers Club   [ updated Feb 10, 2011 8:44 AM ]

NYC's 10th juggling festival! Details coming soon at http://jugglenyc.com/fests.html. This is always a great festival with tremendous attendance, amazing workshops and a jaw-dropping show.

The festival will be at the Pratt Institute, 200 Willoughby Ave, Brooklyn NY. You can use this map to generate directions (just click on the pushpin and select "directions to here).

According to Matt "from Pratt" Guzzardo, this may be the last year for the NYC festival, as Pratt Institute is no longer willing to host after this year. The date was just approved on short notice, so please help pass the word to all jugglers you know!

While there is ample parking at Pratt, many Philly jugglers like to carpool to this festival to save on gas and tolls. If you are interested in carpooling to this festival, please go the front page of our site and sign up for the Google group/email list at the bottom of the page if you haven't already. From there you can email the group. Be sure to provide appropriate contact information and indicate whether you are offering or seeking a ride (or if you are open to either option). Even if you're not looking to carpool, please sign up for the group anyway as we also use this group to pass the word about important items like last-minute club meeting cancellations or changes.

Flying Karamozov Brothers, October 23 in Reading, PA

Entertaining audiences for over thirty years, the Flying Karamazov Brothers (FKB) combine slapstick comedy, physical theater, exuberant music, and world-class juggling for a hilarious and engaging show. This performance of the Flying Karamazov Brothers is being presented October 23, 2010 at 7:30 PM, in conjunction with Reading Area Community College's Celebration of Education Gala. Masquerade dress encouraged! Tickets are Tickets: $27 Advance, $32 Door, $20 Student (RACC), and can be purchased online at http://racc.edu/MillerCenter/events/e-karaBrothers.aspx
